This school participates in several Federal Student Financial Aid Programs:

  • Federal Pell Grant Program
  • Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG)
  • Federal Direct Loan Program (Subsidized, Unsubsidized, and PLUS)

The Nursing Program is also approved by the New York State Education Department for the training of veterans.

Students must maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) as described in the Nursing Handbook to receive Financial Aid. SAP is determined on a semester basis.

Transportation

All travel costs incurred on a daily basis from home to School or clinical facility are at the student’s expense. The Vocational Education and Extension Board (VEEB) does not provide housing or meals for students.

Please arrive 15 minutes before the start time for the check-in procedure.
Testing is by appointment only.

Counseling Services

Students who are in need of counseling services can make an appointment with the student counselor.

The counselor is available Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at 516-572-1704 to assist students with any difficulties they may be experiencing.
